We start here.

“But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.”

We are

Just two average people spending our days in Western North Carolina. We’ve raised two girls and are still raising two boys — yes, all from the same original family. Clearly God has His way in our lives. We learn to adjust because His way is always better than ours. Even when it hurts.

We spend our days serving teens in camp ministry in the mountains of North Carolina. Shaun’s favorite days are spent with teens talking Jesus, acronyms, and riddles. Cassi’s favorite days are spent barefoot in the garden or capturing life with her camera. Family togetherness trumps it all.

with Cassi (Hope) capturing life with the camera and marrying the hopeful beauty with encouraging words on her blog.

Now we are growing

into much more as Shaun has joined the work. We share our journey through the darkness of Depression & Anxiety and offer resources to inspire people finding themselves on the same road. We hope you’ll share the journey as we continue to share everyday hope for your everyday living.

Our Purpose

We see many people living without hope, going through the motions of living but empty, quitting when life (in true life fashion) gets too messy. We’ve been in these very places ourselves.

We have a fire in us to be a voice of hope when despair comes knocking, when the mundane tempts us to lose our way. Walking with a personal God affords us the faith to believe He can make a way where there isn’t one; He can hold together what seems to be falling apart; He can bring to life what seems too far gone.

  • Remaining faithful is our greatest work, but life doesn’t make it easy.

  • The hopelessness is suffocating. You were never meant to walk this alone.

  • We want to help you keep going.
